Today while I was cleaning the snow from the parking place (it is a common parking place - not my own parking place) someone walks close to me and says with a puzzled face: "And then someone else comes and parks his car here" (In Romanian: "Şi vine altul şi o parchează aici").
Is volunteering dead? Should we do things ONLY if their result is directed strictly to us?
What about open-source and the way that revolutionized the way of writing software, but I guess that guy didn't think that far ...
Is this the general mentality in Romania?

Well, here (UK) people dont shovel snow off their sidewalks because they're afraid of getting sued by the first guy who slips and falls on the bit they've cleaned.
Which one is better? :)
Hmmm, that's a little bit drastic.
I'm not sure what to choose, but I believe this time Romania won :) [I don't like spending money on lawyers].
